Flea Market

A name that is quite misleading, actually.  Sure, there are quite a few things that commands this name, but there are also the amazing, rare finds that are quite a treat. As I weaved in and out of the long, white-capped tents, the over perfumed enviroment giving me a headache, and kicking myself for not bringing my oversized Coach sunglasses, I stumbled upon it. In front of me specializing in old magazines, was the tent from antique heaven. I sifted through a lot of Life magazines and old Italian Vogue that cost at least $100, and that’s when I found it. A Seventeen magazine from January, 1952. I had to buy it. It is crazy looking at people then’s fashion concepts and the fact the only pair of pants  available were on a girdle. The most expensive thing in there was about $10.00.

This is the December issue...but still...only a month away

Part 2: As I was leaving I noticed that there had been about 100 tables selling knock off sunglasses. To no avail, might I add. The Raynbands were all to small, the “Coach” all had terribly noticeable changes to them. Then, I found a booth that at first I thought were selling the real things. I shopped around a bit, and the only thing that tipped me off was a pair of Gucci sunglasses.  I ended up getting a pair of Dior knock offs for only $7. I find sunglasses to be the best Summer accessory. Coach and Dior have become my obsession.

This is the pair of glasses I got. I love the not-so-subtle detailing on the side

 Happy shopping,

A Fresh Start

In case you have noticed, I had been neglecting to add to any of my blogs. Well, there is a reason to this other than the old “I’m just to lazy” excuse. I was waiting. For what, you ask. I was waiting to mature a little. I am now a teenager, more mature than when I started any of my blogs, and my sence of style has also matured. I find myself gravitating to a polished, girly, coture look. I also have palible information on clothes, make-up, and hair. Experience. Therfore, I expect a thank you. <3

Spring

Dear Fashionites,

It is finnaly in our grasps! We can finnaly see the silver lining that is spring! It is a thing of beauty and filmy pink raps that look like it belongs on a princess.  I have found that clunky belts, wedges, and floral prints are in. Small flowers, not those large ones. Also, hats and vintige looking clothes are in the now.

More later,
